For the more adventurous you can slip and slide down rapids and explore some fantastic rivers and gorges whilst white water rafting.

Ussat Les Bains is itself a Thermal Spa resort offering many treatments, not only for pure relaxation but also for the treatment of Parkinson Disease. There are also other Spa's at Ax Les Thermes and in other towns in the area.

For those seeking quieter acitvities the are endless opportunities for rambling and trecking accross the mountains.

There are also magical towns such as Foix and Miripoix to explore, enjoy the excellent cuisine and vibrant markets and shops.

The first centre is right in Ussat Les Bains, a stones throw from the house!
For the more adventurous you can try carting, paragliding and even take a Hot Air Balloon trip, a fantastic way to view the spectacular countryside.

Although the Mediterranean coast at Perpignan is only 2 hours away, you can swim in beautiful Inland Lakes, all of which have sandy beaches and lifeguards. With no tidal flow the lakes are perfect for small children.

If all that is not enough the opportunities to fish in crystal clear rivers is yet another reason to come to Ussat.
